It's not everyday you ride your bicycle to a beach and are welcomed by a landing craft with open arms so when it does happen, you snap a photo and paint the opening image of an adventure that never was. I do not know this boats name or where she came from, but I liked the fantasy of it whisking me away (and the captain laughed when I said upon arrival that "I must go, my chariot has arrived"). Needless to say, we were not invited aboard but simply biked on our way.
