I love this day-the photo this piece is inspired from was taken on a warm August day back in 2017 when I was pregnant and sailing around the San Juan Islands in our Catalina Capri racing our buddy Rusty. I snapped this photo from our cockpit of Rusty sailing by the east tip of Spieden on a particularly windy day where we spent most of the time heeled over with smiles plastered on our faces. You can see the wake from our little boat in the bottom right corner :)
